Dental Cleaning
Teeth cleanings (also referred to as scaling or root planning, is the act of removing the soft (plaque or biofilm) and hard (tartar or calculus) deposits from the teeth both above and below the gum line. These soft and hard deposits are the primary causes of gum infection otherwise known as gingivitis. If gingivitis is left untreated, this infection can worsen and become periodontitis which is an infection of the supporting structures being the bone that supports your teeth.

This is particularly effective on brown tobacco and coffee/tea stains, although it will not have a whitening effect on yellowed teeth.
